严格来讲,QuataFire610不属于声卡,是用于音频工作站的音频接口,在专业音频接口中价格算是比较便宜的,可惜,固件和驱动似乎都有问题

2750元,价格没得说,美日产品没有这个价位,我搞不懂是固件问题还是驱动问题? 原始固件似乎可以,就是控制面板无效,必须用Windows音频控制面板.升级固件和驱动后控制程序1、2通道正常,新的问题是无法识别音频输入设备和大部分输出通道失效,输入控制还是无效但硬件正常,只是无法控制而已,以上是在XP_Pro 2002 SP2 系统下,试了两台电脑,特别做了全新的操作系统.下面是官方给我的回复:

Did you try to update the firmware or do you have a Quatafire that has the firmware already updated?
If you have early firmware version of the Q/F and need to update the firmware for use with driver v1.15 or v1.19
The firmware updater can be downloaded from the esi-pro.com website
The firmware update needs to be carried on a desktop PC
With a minimum of Windows XP and Service Pack 1 installed
And the Quatafire is best used with its own PSU
Also please try latest driver v1.19 for the Quatafire
[With driver v1.15 and v1.19 once installed correctly you need to select 8ch out in windows sound preferences]
also you did not say what application you are using for multi channel outputs

You may find that the firmware update did not carryout correctly
It needs to go all the way to 100%
What you may have to do is to update the firmware again or maybe 3-4 times
until it goes all the way. keep an eye on the update bar, it
has to go all the way to 100% somtimes it jumps from 40-50% to 100% and
and may make the interface not work properly.

If you encounter a problem with latest driver
shut down your PC and remove the Q/F
restart your PC and with windows fully on screen  run the driver setup but select to uninstall the drivers
when completed dont continue with the driver setup [cancel it]
then restart the PC [so it clears all]
then run the driver setup again [without the Q/F connected] for the driver you wish to use following the on screen instructions

If you use your PC without the Q/F switched on
when you switched the Q/F on again you may well find that the Q/F control panel
shows faders down
from the drop down menu config click on factory default
this will take a little while to update itself
when done the faders are available for use but input will show muted
so unmute what ones you want to use

[Also please try your Quatafire on a different PC with a different make/model of firewire adapter]
